Once again I realize a major truth. Last night Pretzel's adopter texted me how much he loves her and about their day. He sent a photo. And again this morning, another photo and told me she cuddled with him in bed all night.
That's it. The one truth I somehow forgot. Love.
All we foster homes want for the dogs or puppies we foster is for them to be cherished. Once I know that, my heart is at ease. She's where she belongs. I can move on.
Like all my other fosters, I won't forget her. But knowing she's loved is all I can ask.
